HEATHER HOESCH OLSEN
Growing up in Southern California, my favorite childhood memories were holiday celebrations, playing team sports, birthday parties, and family trips. In high school, I worked at a bridal salon helping brides find the perfect dress. I later attended Cal State Long Beach, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies while working full time as an in-house wedding coordinator for a luxury catering company.
In just a few short years, I gained an incredible amount of experience planning weddings and events of all sizes, cultures, and styles. That foundation shaped my hospitality- and process-driven approach to planning and designing weddings. After 22 years and over 900 weddings and events, I still get excited to meet each couple, hear their story, and dream up a day that celebrates their love in a way they will never forget.

I believe in celebrating life’s moments, from planning a dinner out with friends to celebrate a birthday, to popping a bottle of champagne for a work win, or checking out a great new restaurant. I find so much joy in gathering together and sharing experiences. I love date nights and golfing with my husband, Jeff, weekend trips and wine tasting with friends, and celebrating holidays and milestones with family. I love my people and the time we spend together more than anything.
It’s through real life that I find inspiration — in dining out, travel, architecture, cultures, colors, and so much more — all of which I bring into the design and planning of my clients’ wedding weekends.
But most nights, you’ll find me at home with Jeff, cooking dinner, curled up on the couch with our two cats, planning our next trip or watching our current show.
